Pets & Animal Friends

Josiah delights in a baby bird which he found fallen out of its nest. When your child calls you excitedly wanting to show you something that is very special like this baby bird, be sure to grab your camera and come right away!

Jennifer has over come her fears of holding a toad! You will want to document your child's accomplishments! It does so much to help their self esteem! You'll want to photograph your children whenever they find an unusual friend. Give your child's new found friend his own special picture! Your child will be delighted! Josiah would like you to meet the grand toad! Shadow is my best friend! Share your photos on line. Shadow is really competitive when he plays ball! Every day memories will be gone soon enough; photograph them! Give your children's pet his own favorite photo! We love Shadow!! Take your children to a pet store; bring your digital or film camera and be sure to take pictures! Photo taking tip: Notice how Jennifer's legs are distorted by the lens. This picture would look better taken closer up. Now this is much better taken closer up! Remember, you can always crop pictures, but it will result in fewer pixels to work with in your enlargements. This picture was taken with the light bounced off the white ceiling. Notice that you can see background detail, but it is not overpowering. When you bounce your flash, the light is softer & your aren't as likely to startle the pet either. Take several pictures of your child with his new wiggley friend. You'll probably love most of them! Keep the point of focus on your child's eyes even if a pet friend is in the picture. Continue taking pictures, working on your framing, & soon you will get something like this! It's good enough for sharing on line with family or having it print on canvas. The next picture will see it transformed into art. Here is the previous picture transformed into a watercolor art form via your computer. It would be wonderful to have it printed on canvas for a special gift to someone who loves this child! Josiah delights in a baby bird which he found fallen out of its nest. When your child calls you excitedly wanting to show you something that is very special like this baby bird, be sure to grab your camera and come right away! You do not want to miss photographing moments like this one! Be sure to take a close-up too of just what your child is excited about. When you are taking pictures of these very special moments, also look to capture the many different expressions that your child is displaying. A picture like this one would be great on canvas! Jennifer and Josiah have spotted a honey bee gathering pollen. If you look closely, you may be able to see the honey bee. Notice how the "rule of thirds" has made this a very dramatic picture.
